Combination of AI and Blockchain Opens Space for Youth to Create Innovation
Tangerang, December 3, 2025 – The fusion of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology is creating vast opportunities for young people to build their careers and produce new innovations, according to the Usky AI content ecosystem.
Isybel Harto, Founder and CTO of Usky AI, emphasized the importance of easy access to technology today. Speaking at an educational event held at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) in Tangerang Selatan, she said the youth are encouraged to explore AI and blockchain technologies creatively, critically, and wisely to bring about future innovations.
“At present, it is clear that AI is transforming the way people create innovations and works, while blockchain provides transparency and security,” Harto explained.
The high interest among the youth in these technologies is reflected in a 2025 internet survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII). The survey of 8,700 respondents showed that 27.34 percent are AI users, with Generation Z accounting for 43.7 percent of that group. “This data demonstrates the strong enthusiasm of young people toward the use of AI technology,” she added.
Supporting this view, Ari Budi Santosa, Blockchain & Crypto Content Specialist from PINTU, highlighted the growing public attention on cryptocurrency, especially among the younger generation. He stressed the need to enhance literacy about crypto and blockchain to keep pace with rapid developments.
“PINTU actively conducts campus outreach to provide fundamental understanding of cryptocurrencies, equipping students with the basic knowledge needed to explore career opportunities in the digital asset arena,” Santosa said. He noted that PINTU remains committed to continuously promoting education and literacy about crypto assets and blockchain technologies to the youth.
This approach is underscored by data from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), which recorded over 18 million cryptocurrency users as of October 2025, with transaction values reaching up to Rp360.3 trillion by September 2025. Data from the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) also showed that Generation Z dominates 26.9 percent of total users, aged between 18 and 24, signaling strong interest from young people in digital assets.
Echoing the momentum, the Informatics study program at UPJ Tangerang Selatan is committed to establishing an IT Club focused on Web3 and Blockchain to accommodate students interested in these emerging fields.
Prio Handoko, the student affairs coordinator at UPJ’s Informatics program, expressed appreciation for the integration of AI and blockchain education on campus. “These technologies have become inseparable from our lives. The increasing complexity of data demands that we utilize tools like AI for efficient management and blockchain for security and digital innovation,” he stated.
The collaboration between institutions like Usky AI and PINTU, alongside academic initiatives, underscores a collective effort to nurture the younger generation in harnessing the potential of AI and blockchain — paving the way for a future driven by technology-powered creativity and secure innovation.
