Crypto Firm Linked to Trump Family Project Dismisses Auditor Amid Ongoing Turmoil
December 29, 2025 | By Nicola M White
A small financial-technology company connected to a cryptocurrency project tied to the Trump family has taken another step highlighting its internal challenges by terminating its auditor just weeks after engagement. The Las Vegas-based firm, Alt5 Sigma Corp., dismissed its auditor, Victor Mokuolu CPA PLLC, on Christmas Day, according to a regulatory filing made public on Monday.
This development marks continuing signs of instability for the company, which has been under scrutiny amid broader market pressures in the crypto space. Notably, Alt5 Sigma had hired Victor Mokuolu CPA PLLC less than three weeks before deciding to end the relationship, an unusually brief tenure for such an important financial oversight role.
Following the dismissal, Alt5 Sigma announced a new auditor, Deer Park, Illinois-based L J Soldinger Associates LLC, appointed to take over the firm’s accounting and audit responsibilities.
Alt5 Sigma’s ties to the Trump family’s cryptocurrency endeavors have brought additional attention to the company, especially considering the fluctuating fortunes of crypto-related ventures and the heavy regulatory and public spotlight on figures associated with former President Donald Trump and his family.
The circumstances surrounding the sudden change in auditors remain unclear, with the company yet to disclose detailed reasons for the abrupt switch. However, the move might reflect ongoing efforts to stabilize internal operations and address any financial reporting or compliance issues amid the complex and often volatile cryptocurrency environment.
Alt5 Sigma’s latest maneuver adds to a series of recent developments affecting firms in the crypto industry, particularly those linked to high-profile individuals or projects. Observers will be watching closely to see how this transition impacts the company’s trajectory and its ability to navigate the challenges inherent in the evolving digital asset sector.
