Lahaina, HI – May 5, 2025 – American Savings Bank (ASB) proudly announces the grand opening of its new branch located at Lahaina Cannery Mall, reinforcing its commitment to the Maui community. The inaugural ceremony is set to take place today, marking a significant milestone for both the bank and the residents who rely on its services.

The new Lahaina branch replaces the former location on Papalaua Street, which was tragically destroyed in the devastating wildfires that impacted Maui last year. Grand Opening Ceremony
Today’s grand opening event will be marked with a traditional Native Hawaiian blessing—a ceremony that reflects ASB’s respect for the local culture and heritage. Attendees will also hear remarks from ASB President and CEO Ann Teranishi, alongside Maui Councilmember Tamara Paltin, who will provide insights into the bank’s latest initiatives and its role within the Maui community.
