Samsung has announced a strategic partnership with Yahoo Media Group to bring real-time sports scores and financial market information directly to Galaxy users through Samsung News. This marks the first significant expansion of features within the Samsung News platform, integrating live updates powered by Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Finance.

Starting October 1, 2025, Galaxy smartphones and tablets from 2023 onward will offer users seamless access to a dedicated Sports tab and a financial market module within Samsung News. This integration allows fans and market enthusiasts to receive instant, personalized information without leaving the Samsung ecosystem.
The newly introduced Sports tab delivers up-to-the-minute scores, schedules, standings, and player statistics from leading sports leagues. Users can customize their experience by selecting favorite teams and sports, ensuring they receive timely updates tailored to their interests.
In parallel, the financial market module streams real-time data tracking major U.S. indices, accompanied by curated financial headlines from respected news sources. This powerful combination helps users stay informed about market trends and economic developments as they happen.
