After bursting onto the scene with an undefeated streak and winning the NXT Breakout Tournament, Femi secured the North American Championship by cashing in on Dragon Lee. His record-setting 272-day title reign ended abruptly with back-to-back losses to D’Angelo.
The cause of Femi’s absence remains unclear. It could be an injury break, a creative decision by NXT management, or possibly a prelude to a main roster call-up.
